Ground Force Engineering PLLC is a structural engineering firm led by its principal, Zachary S. Polaha, P.E., and based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The practice covers new building and foundation design, the assessment and repair of existing buildings, and the foundations beneath solar generation and battery storage facilities.
Mr. Polaha holds Professional Engineer licenses in North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. Building and repair work is concentrated in North Carolina; energy work follows our clients' portfolios across the other eight states. Analysis runs in RISA-3D, RISAConnection, LPILE and Enercalc, and drawings are produced in AutoCAD.
Practice
We are the engineer of record on the work we design. We do not perform installation or sell repair products, and our recommendations are based on the structure and the site conditions.
A licensed professional engineer is responsible for each project from inspection or initial design through completion. Field inspection is performed by the firm during construction and installation where the design requires it.
